Dr. Walton

Grant D. Walton, DMD, MS
I love creating beautiful, healthy smiles! There is nothing like seeing a young person who is afraid to smile transform into a person who can’t stop smiling when their braces come off. It is truly wonderful to see my patients’ increased confidence and self-esteem when they have a smile they can be proud of.

I believe in open communication. That’s what allows my team to offer you the personalized treatment plans and high-quality orthodontic care that you deserve. I work with the best team of skilled professionals I could ask for. Their work is impeccable and with this team working for you, the sky is the limit!

Education and Experience
I have provided orthodontic care to residents in the Casa Grande area since 1990. I earned my undergraduate degree with honors at the University of Arizona. I received my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with honors at Oregon Health Science University. Graduating in the top of my dental school class allowed me to be accepted into one of the most prestigious orthodontic programs in the country as University of Illinois in Chicago. I received my certificate in orthodontics and masters of science in 1990.

To provide optimal patient care using the most current treatment options, I regularly attend continuing education courses on the specialty of orthodontics. I have served in various professional organization capacities, including past president of the Arizona Orthodontic Association, and as a board member of the Arizona Orthodontic Study Group.

In the Community
Born and raised in Casa Grande, I love this community, and am grateful to serve it in various capacities. I am a member of several local area Chambers of Commerce. I also volunteer several hours a month for the Boy Scouts of America, both at the local and district level. My faith is very important to me. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and have served in many positions. As a young man, I served a two-year mission for the LDS church. I lived and taught people in Spain about the church and became fluent in the Spanish language. My most recent opportunity to serve is as Stake President over church membership and operations throughout Casa Grande and surrounding areas, including Arizona City, Coolidge, Eloy and Florence.

Outside the Office
My family is most important to me. I reside in Casa Grande with the love of my life, Laura. We have three fantastic sons, Zack, Taylor, and Jared. Our two beautiful daughters, Caitlin and Malorie, and wonderful son-in-law, David, live in Provo, Utah where they attend Brigham Young University.

At home, I enjoy coaching youth athletics, scuba diving, wakeboarding and snowboarding, and almost any outdoor activity. I have been a private pilot for over 10 years and love to fly the friendly skies! My favorite activities always include spending time with my wife and children.
